Wynne is back! Not completely yet, but there is definite improvement since last year at this time. Here is a shot of her wearing the costume she wore for the dance Recital given by the studio where she resumed her tap classes during the winter. Yes, she has recovered enough from her mystery muscle problem to allow her to at least go back to some of the things she enjoyed most, and tap dancing rates "right up there" |

| Although Laura and Dave no longer live in New Orleans, we joined them there for Christmas, 2001, and had a great time. The weather was fine - not too cold nor too hot. Wynne and I stayed only four days. Laura and Dave stayed a few more days - visiting old friends, etc. Then in January, Wynne and I did a "double", visiting Aura in Harrisonburg, Laura and Dave in Asheville, Aura again (on the way home). Here is a shot of Wynne and Aura taken on that trip. Don't they both look great? |

| Now for some more serious stuff. Wynne has been in charge of the Engagement/Wedding page of the Sunday edition of the Bucks County Courier Times for more than twenty five years. She has developed the job to the point where she can now accomplish more in ten hours per week than in the twenty hours she worked when she started. Presently she works only on Wednesdays and Thursdays, but her schedule can be adjusted when necessary to fit in something personal - such as a visit to a local festival. In addition - because of her newspaper skills - she has been the editor for the Friends of Washington Crossing Historic Park Newsletter for the past three years. Unfortunately, because a close friend, Janet Hemphill, died (03 Aug 2003) the organization, for which Janet was President of the Board, was "dissolved", and no longer exists. Very Sad! But, at least that means no more News Letter - which had become a bit of a burden. |
| Our "back yard" is a disaster when it comes to maintaining a decent lawn, as we have a solid cover of trees. So, Wynne decided to plant a shade garden. Here is an early July 2003 shot of the garden. It has come along nicely for 2004, with some new plantings, and the Lobilia growing to about 4 feet tall with a very nice flower crown - about twice the size of last year. |
